The Vittoriale degli Italiani was built in 1921 in the historic town of Gardone Riviera. It is a complex of buildings, squares, and an open-air theatre where concerts are often held with famous international singers. It was built by the well-known poet Gabriele D’Annunzio with the support pof the architect Gian Carlo Maroni.
Today the Vittoriale is open to the public, and it is visited by 180,000 persons every year.
